小さな人とは、幼子のように自分には助けが必要だと感じ、何でも自分でできるとは思わない人のことです。
その人たちは、神にこころを開き、神のみわざに驚く人です。
神のしるしの読み解き方を知り、神の愛の奇跡に驚かせていただく方法を知っているのです（マタイ11・25）。
